NE
Seattle, WA 98105
Subjed: Geotechnfcal Report
 Cross Parcel Redevelopment
11308 Evergreen Way
Ev,erett, Washington
Dear Mr. Vanderwall:
As requested, we have conduted a geotechnical engineering sudy for the proposed
retail development planned for the suLject property in south Everett, Washington. This
report presents our findings and recommendations for the geotechnical aspects of
project design and construction.
SUMMARY
Our field exploration indicates that the western and southwestern portions of the site
are generally underlain by loose to medium dene Id fills. Denser native silty sand
glacial till-like soils are present under the eastern areas. The fills were probably placed
long ago for construction of businesses which operated on the site in the past. No
significant groundwater was encountared across the site, however, perched water may
be anticipatPd at relatively shallow depths in the winter.
In our opinion, the site conditions encountered are suitable for support ot the planned
new building and other facilities. The presence of localized fill materials will require
some special foundation subgrade preparauon for support of portions of the structure..
, 'I )
