The University of Washington will use the <br /> current draft plan and a pre-earthquake assessment of specific structures to identify areas in the City <br /> that have a greater exposure potential to multiple effects from disasters.This information along with <br /> comments on the plan received at public meetings will provide the University with the information <br /> required to complete disaster mitigation strategies and produce the final HMP. The funding for this <br /> plan development is through disaster mitigation planning grant money received by City emergency <br /> management. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Personal <br /> Services Agreement with the University of Washington for the completion of the City of Everett's Hazard <br /> Mitigation Plan. <br /> a <br />
