"Physical Assistance" means the provision of hands-on assistance on the performance of daily <br /> tasks or activities. <br /> q. "Primary Caregiver(s)" or"Caregiver" means the parents, legal guardians or other persons who <br /> have or assume primary responsibility for the necessary care of the client. <br /> r. "Protective Supervision" means supervision to ensure the safety and well being of a client, <br /> exclusive of those responsibilities, which should be assumed by a legal guardian. <br /> s. "RCW" means the Revised Code of Washington. "Regulation" means any federal, state, or local regulation, rule, or ordinance. <br /> u. "SSPS" means the Social Service Payment System, the service authorization and payment system <br /> used by DSHS. <br /> w. "Service Plan" means an individual service plan (isp) or Plan of Care (POC) which is written plan for <br /> long term care service delivery which identifies ways to meet the Client's needs with the most <br /> appropriate services. <br /> x. "Subcontract" means any separate agreement or contract between the Contractor and an individual <br /> or entity ("Subcontractor") to perform all or a portion of the duties and obligations that the <br /> Contractor is obligated to perform pursuant to this Agreement. <br /> y. "Subrecipient" means a non-federal entity that expends federal awards received from a pass- <br /> through entity to carry out a federal program, but does not include an individual that is a beneficiary <br /> of such a program. A subrecipient may also be a recipient of other federal awards directly from a <br /> federal awarding agency. <br /> z. "Transportation Services" means the process of transporting a client from one location to another. <br /> aa. "Unusual Incidents" means a change in circumstances or events that concern a client's safety or <br /> well being. These may include, but are not limited to the following examples: an increased <br /> frequency, intensity, or duration of any medical conditions;, adverse reactions to medication, severe <br /> behavioral incidents that are unlike the client's ordinary behavior, severe injury, running away, <br /> physical or verbal abuse to themselves or others, etc <br /> bb. "WAC" means the Washington Administrative Code.
