After <br /> inspection of the property, Superior Court issues Order No. 05-2-05933-6 authorizing the City to take such <br /> actions as it reasonable determines are necessary to abate the nuisance existing at 4511 Colby Avenue, <br /> including but not limited to the removal of garbage,human sewage, rotten food, animal carcasses,unsanitary <br /> personal and the repair and rehabilitation of the property. The City incurred costs in performing <br /> said abatements,which were billed to the owner and are over thirty days past due. This resolution authorizes <br /> placement of an assessment lien on the property in the amount of the outstanding costs of abatement, which <br /> total $17,272.10. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Adopt a Resolution confirming expenses incurred by the City of Everett while performing abatements of <br /> violations, and authorizing placement of a lien in the amount of$17,272.10 against the property known as <br /> 4511 Colby Avenue in the city of Everett, Washington. <br /> 26 <br />
