(ZZA) has completed a Subsurface Exploration and Geotechnical Engineering Evaluation for the above- referenced project. The conclusions and recommendations developed from the evalua6on azc � discussed in the subsequent sections of trus rcport. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY The following is a brief summary outline of the geotechnical conclusions and recornmcndations for this project. The summary should be rcad in complete context with the accompanying repori for proper intecpretation. Subsurface Evaluation • The subsurface evaluation consisted of complering 33 hollow-stem auger borings and 21 backhoe-excavated test pits across tte project site. The boring and test pit locarions were based upon a Conceptual Site Plan dated June 20, 2002, by PacLand. Additional borings and test pits were completed by ZZA in October 2002 as part of a Limited Phase II Environmental Sitc Assessmcnt and were used to supplement the new explorations. Subsurface Conditions • Subsurface conditions gcnerally consisted of undocumented fill consisting of silty sand and silty sand widi some gravel or native silty sand with some gravel interpreted to be weathered and unweathered glacial till. • Fill depths were grcatest along the westem third and the castern third of thc PulI-A-Part wrecking yard properry and the Fifth Wheel Place property.
