April 24, 2013 <br /> The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br /> 12:30 p.m., April 24, 2013 in the City Council Chambers of the Everett <br /> City Hall, Vice President Affholter presiding. Upon roll call it was found <br /> that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Murphy, Gipson, <br /> Bader, and Affholter were present. Council Members Moore and <br /> Stonecipher were excused. <br /> Council Member Gipson led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> The minutes of the April 17, 2013 City Council meeting were approved as <br /> printed. <br /> MAYOR <br /> The Mayor had no comments. <br /> COUNCIL <br /> Council Member Roberts reported that the Historic Commission met and <br /> held a public hearing regarding the naming of a park in honor of Drew <br /> Nielsen. The Historic Commission moved it forward unanimously. <br /> He stated that he had questioned Allan Giffen, Planning, about <br /> apodments and whether they are permitted under the city of Everett's <br /> codes. Allan's response was that they are not permitted. <br /> CITY ATTORNEY <br /> The City Attorney had no comments. <br /> CITIZEN COMMENTS <br /> No citizens wished to speak. <br /> 116 <br />
