Please review and respond to the comments below. These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 2012 Intemational Building Code (IBC), the 2012 International Fire Code (IFC), the 2012 International Mechanical Code (IMC), and the 2012 International Energy Conservation (IECC), as amended by the State of Washington and adopted by the ciry of Everett. The current IBC referenced standard for accessible design is the 2009 "Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities"(ICC/ANSI A117.1). Federal ADA regulations and standards may be more restrictive. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of construction documents reflecting the corrections requeste�t. 1. Enclosed is a copy of chapter 16.76 of the Everett Municipal code. Section 16.76.060c wouid require adding an automatic fire suppres5:on system to all of the existing building. Exception 1 woutd allow separating the restaurant from the rest of the building with "fire barriers"and the addition of an automatic fire suppression system within the restaurant only. Exception 2 would take away the automatic fire suppression system requirement if "fire walls"were added separating the restaurant from the rest of the building.
