The plan <br /> check fee that was collected ($14,532.60)was based on the construction valuation given to us by CT. However, <br /> on new structures the city uses a 'per square foot'cost which computes to a much Iower figure because only the <br /> shelter itself is valued for the building permit cost. Since the shelters are the same at each location,we can <br /> charge just one plan check fee for all lwelve. Thus the first permit includes that cost and all the others are the <br /> same. This is indicated on the table under"BLDG PERMIT. Make sense? <br /> FYI -each shelter has been valued at$35,520 which computes at 960 sf(size of shelter)times $37 per sf. <br /> There will still be a State surcharge of$4.50 due on each permit.
