The grade beam action <br />of the footing will be sutiicient to span sott areas. <br />Soil bearing values are not critical for the light load created by this <br />structure. Where moderate amounts of organic material are encountered at the <br />footing level the contractor may either increase footing width or remove the <br />material and recompact the soil area. <br />If you insist we will go to the additional time and expense to re-test <br />that area which concerns you.
