Car and van park- <br />ing spaces shell be marked to define the width. <br />Where parking spaces are merked with lines, the <br />width measurements of parking spaces and adja- <br />cent access aisles shall be made from the centerline <br />of the markings. <br />EXCEPTION: Where parking spaces ar access <br />aisles are not adjacent to another pArking spece <br />or access aisle, measuremen;s shall be per- <br />132min <br />3350 <br />502.4.1 Location. Access elsles shall adjoin an <br />accessible route. Two perking spaces shall ba <br />pernitted to shere a common access aisle. Ac- <br />cess afsles shall not overlep with ihe vehicular <br />way. Parking spaces shall be permitted to have <br />access aisies piaced on either side of the car o� <br />van parking space. Van parking spaces that are <br />angled shall have access aisles located on the <br />passenger side of the parking space. <br />502.4.2 Width. Access eisies serving car and <br />van parking spaces shall be 60 inches (1525 <br />mm) minimum in width. <br />502.4.3 Length. Access aisles shall extend the <br />Tull length of ihe parking spaces they serve. <br />502.4.4 Mark.ing.
