As part of their <br />project 0'Sulli�an cleaned up the diesel spill from the old tank plus a former <br />heavy oil spill that had previously been done by a previous owner. Council <br />had authorized expenditure of $64>337.50 ior the work on 6-24-92. Because of the <br />amount of soil disposal reyuired the final project cost amounted to $64,638.66, <br />which is an overrun of $301.16 of the authorized amount. Staff had estimated a <br />project cost of $67,604.75 and had budgeted this amount from Fund No. ;15, which <br />wou=d be the source of the a.'.3ltional funds needed. <br />RECOMMENDATTON (J:zact action requested of Council): <br />Council accept the 0'Sullivan contract amount of 64,638.66 fox <br />Fire Station No. 6 Tank Replacement and accept the work as complete and start <br />the 30-day retention period for final payment. <br />zs <br />� <br />
