June 2, 1985
John Mitchel
19612-50th Street S.E.
Snohomish, WA 987.90
Subiect: Construction of Model Home
at 9609 Everpreen Way
near Air. Mitchel:
During the permit review of your proposed model home, the Public Works
Department finds that it is necessary to require street improvements (curb,
gutter and sidewalk) along your frontage, per Ordinance #555-78.
Improvements along Evergreen Way and 90' along Marilyn Avenue will be designed
and constructed through Local InDrovement District 1713. However, there
remains 50' of frontage along Marilyn Avenue that will not be improved through
the L.I.D. The design and construction of this section of frontage will he
your responsibility. These improvements must be shown on engineering plans,
per City of Everett Standards. A Performance guarantee for these improvements
is required before your building permit can be issued. (you may use one of
enclosed forms for this purpose.)
Enclosed is your original plot ulan showing where your driveway was to be
located. On your revised plans, please show the location that will best suit
Your needs so we can show the corrected location on our L.T.D. plans. The
I
arking area shown on your plans is not acceptable. The parking area must be
paved with asphalt, with a catch basin; and, vehicles must use a driveway
access, rather than backing onto Marilyn, as your plot plan. seems to
indicate. Please revise this on your plans, also.
If you have any questions, please contact Kirk Brooks with the Public Works
Department, at 2S9-8811.
Sincerely,
ALJRE.D TZ.
