The inside face of the wall at the clearstory is to be <br />sheathed with plywood. <br />2. Add full depth blocking (brill for venting) at <br />clearstory bearing line. <br />3. Add straps between the GLB at the exterior entry porch <br />and the GLB at the clearstory. <br />4. The straps between the east edge of the existing decking <br />and the new roof sheathing were observed in miscellaneous <br />locations. Refer to Item 6 in my letter dated 10/19/84. <br />5. The existing diagonal shiplap on the north face of the <br />most northerly SW2 wall is considered equivalent to 5/8" <br />gypsum wallboard fcr shear wall purposes. Add one layer. <br />Of 5/8" gypsum wallboard on the south face. Note: If <br />this wall is to be one hour, 5/8" wallboard must be <br />added to both faces. <br />6. Add blocking for all joints in the gypsum wallboard at <br />SW1 and SW3 walls. <br />7. Add blocking for all plywood edges at SW4 walls. <br />8. Add blocking for all plywood edges at SW5 and nail at <br />4" O.C. 20 - 3/4" diameter parabolts were noted attaching <br />the bottom plate to the concrete. <br />z <br />0 <br />n <br />m <br />
