CONTRACT <br />WHEREAS, JOHN ZANDALL is the owner of the following described <br />property within the City of Everett, Washington: <br />Lot 11, Block 4, Plat of Laurel Heights; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, John Zandall owns and occupies a single family residence <br />on the above described property; and <br />WHEREAS, John Zandall has applied for a permit to construct a <br />second residence on the above described property which is prohibited by the <br />City of Everett Zoning Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, John Zandall desires to occupy his existing residence <br />on the above described property until such time as the proposed new residence <br />is ready for occupancy; and <br />WHEREAS, John Zandall has expressed his willingness and <br />interest to demolish his existing residence when his proposed new residence <br />is ready for occupancy, <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AND UNDERSTOOD between <br />the parties to this contract that Permit No. 1P299 is granted on the <br />condition that the existing residence located on the above described property <br />be demolished within ninety (90) days from the date that the proposed new <br />residence is ready for occupancy. <br />IT IS ALSO AGREED AND UNDERSTOOD between the parties <br />that if the existing residence is not demolished within ninety (90) days from the <br />date that the proposed residence is completed, that Permit No. _ 12299 <br />will become null and void and nc person shall have a right to occupy the proposed <br />residence. The consideration for this agreement is understood to be the <br />promise of the owner to demolish the existing structure in return for the <br />issuance of a conditional permit to construct the proposed residence.
