June 30, 1971
everett
Mr. Joe Perrigo
2421 Rockefeller
Everett, Washington 98201
Re: 2915 Federal
Dear Mr. Perrigo:
I was given your name as the property owner of the duple:.: and rear
building at 2915 Federal Avenue, Everett.
The P.U.D. answered a trouble call on the service equipment. Their
service min refused to do anything because of the overloaded fuses
and the dangerous condition that e:;isted in the wiring and the fuse
holders. One of the local contractors was called who in turn called
me to also go down and determine the problem with him. The branch
fusing was restored, but I noticed the fuse block about readv to burn
up. The fuses are overloaded and are operating above the safety limits
of the wire. The entire building and the rear building is now fed
from the one source and all are on three fuses. There was a great
deal of extention cords run about the building which is not permitted.
The building is in such a danger of fire, it is necessary to give
you written order to bring the building up to a minimum safety
standard or we will have to notify the P.U.D. to disconnect the power.
Would you please advise me as to what your intent is to resolve the
problem:
Yours truly
L. J. Dougherty
Electrical Inspector
LJD:eb
