The <br />Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by limitation if the work authorized by <br />the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 <br />days. The Building portion of the permitted work was signed off on December 20, 2003, but <br />Plumbing and Mechanical still require final approval. Copies of the last Plumbing and <br />Mechanical inspections are enclosed. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without <br />documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />If the permit is allowed to expire, the file will be sent to our Records Department for <br />microfilming without final approval.
