I. Description of Violation 1 he following conditions constitute a nuisance under Section 13.16.020 of the Everett Municipal Code: No person, firm or corporation shall remove, alter or construct any curb, sidewalk, driveway approach, gutter, pavement or other improvement in any public street, alley or other property owned by or dedicated to or used by the city and over which it has jurisdiction to regulate the matters covered hereby, without first obtaining a permit from the city engineer, and no permit shall be granted until the applicant shall file with city engineer for his approval a copy of a drawing showing the location and size of all such proposed improvements to serve the property affected. The use of the sidewalk as a 6riveway is not only a violation of the Everett Municipal Code it is also a %azard for pedestrians. H. Corrective Action Required To eliminate this violation, you must obtain a permit and put in a legal driveway with curb cut, paving and other required improvements. And you must cease and disist use of the sidewalk as a driveway. Corrective Action must be fully completed on or before August 13, 2001.
