All references refer [o the <br />1988 Uniform Buildmg Code and/or Wazhington State Energy Code unless stated othenvise. <br />1. Washingron State Energy Code (WSEC) compliance form was not included with your <br />submittal. A completed form shall be submitted before your permit can be issued. <br />2. Sleeping rooms shall have at least one operable window or door approved for emergency <br />escape or rescue which shall open directly into a public street, public alley, yazd or exit <br />court. All escape or rescue windows shall have a minimum openable azea of 5.7 square <br />feet. This minimum net clear openable height dimension shall be 24 inches. When <br />windows are provided as a means of escape or rescue they shall have a finished sill <br />height not more than 44 inches above the finished Floor. . <br />3. Vaulted ceilings are required to be insulated to minimum R-30 with one inch clear air <br />space over the insulauon. <br />4. Floors over unhexted spaces are required to be insulated to minimum R-30. <br />5. Above grade walls are required to be insulated to R-19. <br />6.
