M., in the <br />City Council Chambers by Chairman Ross Hoagland. Also in attendance were Doug Zook <br />and Tom Eckstrom, Sr. <br />ltem 1: <br />Location of Property: <br />7ohn T. Homann <br />30 Fern Road <br />Variance Requested: To build a cacport t� within one foot of the side <br />yard line inste«d o: t.^.a :ive fest required by E. M. <br />C. 19.16.050B; and, per E. M. C. 19.42.0208, to <br />build a six foot high :ence on the east and west side <br />property line that will, in two places, come to <br />within ten feet of e�cisting structures on the <br />adjoining property. <br />. The City Staff Report recomrc�znded approvai of the variance. <br />Chairman Hoagland asked the Applicant how far the carport would extend to the front. Mr. <br />Homann explained it would be built to the front of the house with gates across the front. <br />There were no further comments from anyone in the audience. <br />MOT10N: Doug Zook moved that the variance be granted. <br />SECOND: Tom Eckstrom, Sr. <br />VOTE: <br />Item 2: <br />Unanimously in favor to GRANT THE VARIANCE. <br />Location of Property: <br />Richard B. M. <br />C. 19.12.OSOC. <br />ZoninR: <br />R-5, Single Family Suburban Residential <br />Don Wood, oi the Planning Staff, presented the staff report and showed slides of the site. <br />The City Staff Report recommended approval �.vith the conditioi� that detailed building <br />plans be required for review and approval befo� e issuance of a permit. <br />
