The Uniform Building Code provides that all permiu <br />expire by limitation if the work authoriud by the permit is suspeaded or abandoned u any <br />tiine after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit <br />from expiring without documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request att ir�spection of work that hu occuned, to document coatinuing progress, <br />or 2) Request £mal inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Pleau respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be unt to our Records <br />Department for microfilming without fmal approval.
