These comments <br />address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments <br />(such as Utilities, Planning or Pire). All references refer to the (2006 International Building Code,) <br />(2W6 Internationaf Residential Code,) as amended by Qie State of Washington and/or WasUington State <br />Energy Code 2006 �dition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessan� to provide tl�e <br />Building Division with hr�o complete new sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. <br />1. All exterior walls shall be braced in accordance with section R602.10. In addition, interior <br />braced wall lines shall be provided in accordance with Section R602.10.1.1. For buildings in <br />Seismic Design Categories D0, D1 and D2, walfs sliall be constructed in accordance witl� the <br />additional requirements of Scctions R602.10.9, RG02.10.11, and RG02.11. <br />2. The 4 x 10 IIeader at the garage doors appears to be overstressed. Provide new beam size, <br />species and grade. <br />3. The plans call out two different sizes for the plate washers on the anchor bolts. Please revise <br />d�e notes on sheet A-6. <br />4. Provide details and or sections for alternate braced wall panels. Show all components. <br />5. Specify thickness of roof sheathing. <br />6.
