The Uniform Building Code provides <br /> that all permiu expire by limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned <br /> at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the pemut <br /> from expiring without documentation of completion,you may: <br /> 1) Request an inspettion of work that has occuired,to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request 6nal inspection if the work is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br /> You may also wish to have the record clarified in regard to work done to repair fire datnage. <br /> Inspeaor Dave Misner in our office should be able to answer questions you may have about the <br /> need for additional pernvu; he is in the office from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Please respond within 10 days. <br /> After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department for microfilming without final <br /> approval.
