INDUSTRIAL TSTING, INC.
3410 verett Avenue
fivcrett, Wnshington 98?Al
May 28 1971 Telephone 208 . 259•(1817
Ref: M-231
Borseth Company
5533 Parkside Drive •
Marysville, Washington-98270
Subject: Foundation Investigation
Gentlemen:
As requested by the Borseth Compa•y, the soils condition at a ;
proposed residence located at 2908 Furest View Drive, Lot 105,
Va11ey View, was investigated on May 26, 1971.
Footing forms and reinforcing steel were in place. It was found
that organic and unsuitable material were under the forms and the
entire building area. It was recommended no building construction
he placed on the area in its present condition.
We suggested removing the steel and forms and lowering the entire
building area down to stable, suitable soil.
On May 27, 1971 , we were again called to investigate. The Borseth
Company had followed our recommendations and had removed the organic
and unsuitable soil over the entire building area through the use
of a bulldozer. The depth of material removed was approximately
2 to 3 feet. A loaded truck drove across the area in our presence
and the material held up well under this weight.
Sincerely,
,- /
G, / /7 ,
(i / /Lw,
/ 7
C. 0.
