' Again on April 23, 1975, an inspection of the upper floor of the house was inspected at the request: of the Merchant Roofing Company. This inspection revealed the following � additional discrepancies which shall be corrected: - -. -•�-•- 1. This inspection revealed that a con$iderable amount of electrical, plumbing, and general construction remodel work has also been preformed without first • obtaining the necessary permits. This work shall be removed, or permits obtained and the work made to comply with the applicable codes. 2. �The attic area is in the process of being remodeled into habitable rooms. The attic cannot be used as habitable as the ceiling heights do not comply with Section 1407 of the building code. Therefore, all of the electrical and general construction work shall be removed from this area. Please be advised that a stop work� notice was posted on the house on April 18, 1975 , and again on April 24, 1975. The notice o£ April 18 has been removed by unknown persons or person. Also be advised that the unauthorized removal of stop work notices is a misdemeanor and is punishable b}' law. Therefore, please be advised that you are hereby ordered, Ly authority of Section 202 (e) of the Building Code, to stop all work on this building until such time as applicable permits are obtained and until authorized, by the buil3ing official, to proceed, and that no occupancy shall be pern.itted until - authorized by the building official.
