'
To give you a little background regarding this structure,
it was located at this site fror a site outside of the
city limits , therefore, as setf.orth in Section 105 of the
Building Code, it must be considered a if it cvere a new
building. The codes also requires that a building permit
be obtained prior to locating the building at the new site,
and that other applicable permits be required to install
electrical, p1ur.lbinq work, etc.
A search of our files indicate that the above perr.tits
vere issued but have expired by limitation. As the
permits had expired a stop work notice was issued,: on
April 19, 1975. Upon issuance of nev permits the stop
work notice will be removed and work caa recommence. .
As to your question of occupancy, Section 309 (ci) of the
Building Code requires that a final insection be made by
the building official when the buildinq is complete and
ready for occupancy. Therefore, it is reasonable to
assume occupancy could not be permitted, until such time
as the building is complete, and a final inspection has
been made to assure the building is suitable for occupancy.
