Prior to ICathryn He]m's a}�andonment of this property several neighbors expresse3 both interest in purchase and d�spleasure with her obvious lack of pride of ownership. 'I7�,e property is now an eyesore, a nuisance and a hazard to adjacent properties. The yaxd and buildings pose serious potential fire hazard, are possible breeding growids for rodents and other verminand provide a refuge to delinquent behavior. Other neighbors and I have had cause to notify the p�lice on several occasions due to the activities of young people and othc:r transients in the buildings and on the grounds. We are presently pursuing whatever legal means available to us under local ozdinances and, look to you for redress of our present complaints , contineing jeopardy, as well as potential damage and serious ioss. It is inconceivable that you either have not completed the legal proceedings to allow you to msrket this property or are so unconcerned with its worth that you wi11 allow it to fall further and further into disre�;r. I estimate conservatively that it naa would take an expenditure of several thousand dollars to make it m3rketable.. I would appreciate the favor of a response.
