The proposed zero foot setback from the southern property line for a <br /> covered porch is necessitated by the placement of the existing <br /> structure on site and is not the result of a self created hardship. <br /> b. Conclusions: The proposed porch is being located such as to take <br /> into account the limited building area on site. Due to the location and <br /> preexisting nonconforming setback of the existing residence, the <br /> requested variance is not the result of a self-created hardship. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, lhe Board of Adjustment of the City of Everett does hereby <br /> order that the requested variance be APPROVED to allow for a zero setback from <br /> the southem property line. <br /> The action of the Board of Adjustment in APPROVING a variance shall be final and <br /> conclusive, unless within twenty-one (21) days from the date of decision an <br /> aggrieved person or persons obtains a writ of certiorari from the Superior Court of <br /> Washington for Snohomish County for the purpose of review of the action taken. <br /> DATED this 7'" day of April 2003. <br /> �� , <br /> Chairman, Boar f Adjustment <br /> Notes to Applicant: <br /> 1. A copy of this order must be submitted by the Applicant when applying for <br /> building permits. <br /> 3. A pubiic works permit shall be obtained for the portion of the structure that <br /> encroaches into the public right-of-way. <br /> 4.
