He instru[ted me lo research county remrds to determine Ihe status of the structure as far as <br /> the number of bedrooms and bathrooms. Snohomish County records indicate 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Gty <br /> records do not show any permits for mechanical or plumbing. There was a permit in 2002 for adding and changing <br /> circuits. There is no remrd of a building permit. <br /> For this permit I will be Iooking at the basement bathroom as a new bathroom. Toilets are required to have a m�nimum <br /> 15 inches dear space measured from the center of the fixture to any cabinet,wall, sink or shower. <br /> 1he entire house is required ro be upgraded with smoke alarms.Smoke alarms shall be 110 volt wiih battery back�up <br /> and interconnected. Please provide a tloor plan of the 2n° floor showing all «:oms labeled for their intended use and <br /> showing smoke alarms per section R314 Inierna[io�al Residential Code (IRC). <br /> t�ll plumbing fixtures and mechanical equipment in the basement will be subject to inspection. <br /> The plans show a new door in the basement. Specify header size for the opening in the bearing wall. <br /> In new mnstruction all below grade walls are required to be insulated to minimum of R-21. All framing cavrtiez m <br /> existing exterior walis exposed during construction are required to 6e insulated to the maximum depth of the cav�ry (R- <br /> 15 in 2x4 walls). <br /> Also the plannin�department is requiring a site plan (3 Copies) tor land use approval.
