These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2009 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drewings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. All habitable rooms shall have a floor area of not less than 70 s.f. with no dimension less than 7'0" measured horizontally. 2. Provide freming plans for new opening in main tloor to accommodate new stair configuration. 3. Show new waus on main Floor surrounding new stair opening, and bedroom and hallway re-configurauon. 4. Provide stair details showing rise, run, handrail height and diameter, slair width (36" min. clear), headroom and construction of stairs and landing. 5. Provide footing under new bearing wall adjacent to new stairs. Specify reinforcing steel, thickness and width of footing. 6. Provide 3 copies of site plan with information as shown on Ciry of Everett Residential Submittal Checklist.
