The Cin� of Hvcrett has <br /> dctcrmined the site to be an Environmentally Sensitive Area (ESA) aid has requested a geoteclmical review of <br /> the property. The review is to a,ldress the st�bility o(the slope, rctaining wall located east of the residence, <br /> and the presence o(unconsolidated fill at the site as summarized in dieir lcner dated February I5,2003. <br /> The services provided by GeoGngineers will consist oC <br /> 1, Review geologic maps, topographical m�ps, and geatechnical engineering studies completed tor the site <br /> and in the immediate vicinity,as available and appropriate. <br /> 2. Complete a detailed geologic rcconnaiss�nce of the site by an engineering geologist or geotechnical <br /> engineer from our fimi. This will inciude photographic documcntation, sketching of significant features, <br /> shallow probing and ezcava�ion of surficial soils using hand taols, and obscrvation oC groundwater <br /> conditians. <br /> 3. Describe geologic and near-surface soil conditions based on the results of our field reconnaissance snd <br /> shallow hand esplorations. <br /> 4. Summarize our observations and conclusions in � brief letter-rcpon. Our repon will address the <br /> rcquirements of the City of [verctt's [SA, specitically Chapter 37.080 titleJ "Geologically Hazardous <br /> Areas".
