This also will require delineation of ; j
the wetland and buffer, survay, mapping and summary of their acreage's. On
the tasis of existing wetland acreage and buffer size, ils functions and values :
prior to clearing and mitigetion requiraments of Section 37, establish the type :
and quantity of mitigation required. Our preliminary estimates indicate that there t. The plan must demonstrate that equivalent or superior 'Yunctions and
values° to the cleared wetlend and buffer will be provided by the mitigation site. . T.e plan shall be submitted first in a  ;
conceptual and then in a final form, both of which will be subject to review and {
approvel by the Plenning end Utilities Staff. Attached is a draft set of guidelines '
for the preparation of mitigation and menitoring plans. ;.
4) Implementetion. Sucient funds shall be provided far the actual creation
and/or anhancamant of the mitigation wetland and buffer. Preliminary estimates
indicate thet the 0,6 acres of wetland can be mitigated at $40,000 per acre. At a
3:1 mitigation ratio, this would require 2.4 acres of wetland mitigetion or $96,000.
Buffer mitigation is estimated to cost approximately $10,000 per acre or $12,000.
Therefore, totel mitigution is estimated to cost approximetely 3108,000 not :
including planning costs. To ensura that implamentaUon is carried out, the
Clty will require the posting of a bond for 5108,000. :
It ahou/d be notad fhat no conshuctMn on your property wlll be pern►itfed `
unNl the mltlgaUon progrem ouHlnod above ia completed to the '
saNsfactlor v/the Clty(SacNon 37.Oa0.C.7).
Minimlz/ng Potentlel Slope Erosion and Sl/ding Onslte '.
The measures below are not considered to be mitigation for the clearing and are
intended to stebilize the site to prevent any further environmental damage, i
4
e '
%' i
 s
s
T
