Prepare a«�rittcn report to documcnt our findings nnd recommenr ttions. <br /> SITE CONDITIONS <br /> Surfnce <br /> Cenerel: The site covcrs approximatcly I! acres v�d consists of a��open area in the north central portion <br /> surcounded by wooded areas to Uia east, south and west. 71ic site is rougldy rectangular in shapc, wilh tlic <br /> existing rosidential area and a section ui the southa3st comer not being part of tliis developmcnt. 'ilu main <br /> part of tl�e site is approximatcly 435 fect in the north lo svuth direction and approximately 925 feM u� d�e <br /> eazt to wcst dircction. Tl�e narrow area on the east side is approximalcly 250 feet in dre nortli to south <br /> direction :u�d 300 feet in the east to tvest direction. Near the middle of the site, a creck crosscs from thc <br /> souW to Oic nortl�cast dirough a culvcrt. Mother crcck runs from south to the north in the westem portion <br /> of the site. Both creeks and ncarby arrss have becn identificd by oUicrs as wetlands. There is a gravel <br /> access road extending Gom Glenwood Avenue, across approximatcly tlic ecntcr of lt�c site, to the �cedands <br /> on d�c wcst sidc. Thc planncd privatc road will bc in thc approximatc location of thc cxisting acwss road. <br /> �1ost of tlie surface :md subsurface conditions of U�c sitc ditTer from each oll�er due to the original tertain <br /> and Ihc past usage of Uic land. 'Ihcrefore, for purposes of clnrity, we have subdivided dic sita conditions <br /> into four nreas: fill slope, cut slope, dctenlion pond and rubble fill. The r.me subsections havc becn usccl <br /> in Uie Desien Recommendation sectii �of this report. <br /> Fill Slope Aren: 'llie north cenlral portion oCthe sile is rclative flat wilh the cxception of a modcrate to <br /> stcep do�mward slopc towards the north. 'Ihc slopc extends beyond thc nortlicm property line. At the west <br /> end oCthe slope, the gradient is do�m to the north at appro.�cimately B degrces for 22 feet. At this point Uie <br /> slopc crosscs Uic norqi property linc and increases to approximntcly 17 degrees. 'Ihe vertical relief across <br /> this poAion of lhe slope is on dic order of approximately 20 feet. Tl�c slope angles and vertical relicf <br /> diruinishes to�eards Qic cast along the nortlicro slope. The topography on this portion of the site appcars to <br /> luvc b�Yn crcatcd by filling operations aRcr its use:u a smid mid gra��el pit. <br /> Cut Slope Area: A small east to west trending ridgc is localcd in tJie soutl�central portion of the sita 'Ihe <br /> nortl� tace oCthis ridgc has bocn cxcavated(most likcly when thc site was quarricd)and is very steep. 'Il�e <br /> facc o(lhis slopc���as measurcd to be on the order of 65 to �0 dcgrces. Tlie soutl�siJe of Uic ridge slopcs <br /> do���� at about 2C to 31 degrees lowards a crcck.
