These have
created a need for some changes in the approved site plan. It is not
feasible to place the driveways as we originally planned. Me have found few
places along Glennwood where soil stability will allow a driveway without
extensive coreing of existing peat and importing pit run, in addition to
providing a network of permanent drainage lines. We plan to utilize the
existing curb cut on Glennwood, as this location provides a good load bearing
access point. •
From the traffic standpoint, this 'ocation woula work as well as the former
location. We would maintain an aesthetcally pleasg serpentine entrance
as planned. Treatment of the creek will remain the sme and the chanoe will
not adversely affect it. The actual loation would be moved 380 feet down
Glennwood.
We also have found that the existing knoll u the site with six 30-feet
cedar trees on it is presenting an obstacle to good design and economic
realization of the site plan. We propose to remove the tree and part of the
knoll . We are prepared to replace the existing trees on a one for one basis.
The trees would be a minimum of 2" caliper in size, and healthy native stock.
As should be evident by the approved site plan we intend to provide a thorough
landscape job on this site.
Lastly, due to these changes, a reorientation of the building is appropriate
to best appreciate the site. This would also allow us to save one existing
mature cedar tree at the outh end. The building would be reorientated
approximately 30°.
These changes are all intended to make the site a better one all around
and save problems in the future. hP intent and basic desi9n of the approved
site plan has not changed.
Thank you for your help in this matter. _
Vei,v truly your ,
   NOSCAPING, N .
1
,
 -
 ' , _ i T iason
= "" _ ,.71v'` Sit Planner
i
