The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire <br /> by limitation i£the work authorizcd by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after <br /> work is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring <br /> without documentatien of completion, you may: <br /> 1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred,to document continuing progress, <br /> or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br /> or 3) Submit a written�equest for a 180 day :xtension. <br /> Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department <br /> for microfilming without final approval.
