Lowry INSPECTIONpEP�RTMENi <br /> 5624 Commercial <br /> Everett, Washington 59203 <br /> SUBJECT: DECK ENCROACHMENT <br /> 5c24 COMMERCIAL <br /> Dear Mr. Lowry: <br /> It has been brought to our attention that as the owners of the <br /> property legally described below: <br /> Lot 23, Block 13, Laurel Heights <br /> you have constructed a deck on the north side of your residence <br /> without benefit of the required construction permit. Also, the <br /> deck encroaches into the adjacent lot to the north by approximately <br /> three feet. <br /> The City of Everett Zoning Code requires a minimum side yard setback <br /> of five feet, with the exception that platforms or decks being not <br /> over 42 iriches high and havin9 no roof covering may extend into <br /> the required side yard, but in no event closer than three and one- <br /> half feet of the property line. <br /> Upon visual inspection of your property it was also noted that <br /> additional construction has been performed without benefit of the <br /> proper construction documents being submitted for review and the <br /> issuance of a valid construction permit. <br /> Upon receipt of this letter you have two weeks to take corrective <br /> actlon to eliminate these violations. <br /> If there are any questions or concerns regarding these matters do <br /> not hesitate to contact this office.
