I am writing in reponse to a letter she received from <br /> you, dated December 23 , 1998. According to your letter, you <br /> believe her garage was constructed contrary to approved plans. You <br /> further claim a measurement by field staff revealed a height of <br /> 23 feet. Ms. French informs me that these statements are false. <br /> First, the garage, to the best of Ms. French's knowledge, was <br /> constructed according to plans approved by the City. While a <br /> contractor performed the work, she knows of no work performed that <br /> was contrary to the approved plan and certainly not with regard to <br /> the height of the garage. <br /> Second, Ms. French was present when field staff came to the <br /> property. There was no transit shoot or other measurement taken by <br /> anyone from the City, so the statement that there was is wi►olly <br /> false. � <br /> Therefore, Ms. French takes the following position. If you <br /> have evidence of specific work that was performed contrary to <br /> approved plans, please provide it. If not, you should immediately <br /> remove the stop work order from the project. <br /> Furthermore, if you have documentation of a measurement <br /> performed by anyone from the City, please provide that <br /> documentation, including the method of ineasurement and its results, <br /> with all calculations made to determine height. <br /> 1 L ' <br />
