I am writing in reponse to a letter she received from you, dated December 23 , 1998. According to your letter, you believe her garage was constructed contrary to approved plans. You further claim a measurement by field staff revealed a height of 23 feet. Ms. French informs me that these statements are false. First, the garage, to the best of Ms. French's knowledge, was constructed according to plans approved by the City. While a contractor performed the work, she knows of no work performed that was contrary to the approved plan and certainly not with regard to the height of the garage. Second, Ms. French was present when field staff came to the property. There was no transit shoot or other measurement taken by anyone from the City, so the statement that there was is wi►olly false. � Therefore, Ms. French takes the following position. If you have evidence of specific work that was performed contrary to approved plans, please provide it. If not, you should immediately remove the stop work order from the project. Furthermore, if you have documentation of a measurement performed by anyone from the City, please provide that documentation, including the method of ineasurement and its results, with all calculations made to determine height. 1 L '
