W. <br /> Lynnwood, WA 98037 <br /> RE: Illegal Accessory Dwelling Unit located at 8831 Corbin Dr. <br /> Dear Mr. & Mrs. Jimoh, <br /> Our office received a complaint regarding the status of the detached slructure, which is <br /> located behind the main residence at 8831 Corbin Dr. An inspection of the properry on <br /> April 7, 2009 revealed that this rear structure is being rented out as a detached <br /> accessory dwelling unit. This is a violation of EMC 39.020(D.2) which states; Each <br /> single-family dwelling on a lega/building lot shall have not more than one accessory <br /> dwelling unit. No accessory dwelling may be located in any detached accessory <br /> structure. <br /> An examination of the Snohomish County Assessors Office records has shown that you <br /> are the legal owner of this property. The cih� would like to solicit your voluntary <br /> cooperation with the correction of this situation. No persons are permitted to reside in <br /> this rear structure. We ask that this be corrected by May 1, 2009. If compliance is not <br /> achieved by this date, the City will move forward with the issuance of a Violation <br /> Citation and the matter will be scheduled in front of the Violations Hearing Examiner. <br /> Thank you in advance for your cooperation with this matter.
