The V(cinity Map, Plate 1, illustrates the <br /> general IocaGon of the site. The scope of our work consisted of exploring aite surface and <br /> aubaurface conditions, and the� develaping this report to provide recommendetions for generel <br /> earthworlc and design criteria for foundetions and retaining walis. This work was authorized hy your <br /> acceptance of our CoMrad for Professional Services, dated February 21, 2000. <br /> We were provided with a sRe plan that alao corrtained existing topogtaphic infortnation. Based on <br /> this plan, we understand that the reside�ce xnll be located on the northeastem, downslope portion <br /> of the lot. The finish floor elevation of the proposed iwo-story residence witl be 253 feet,thus, a cut <br /> of up to 7 feet is needed ta reach the besement level on the upslope, westem side of the <br /> residence. The driveway to the roaidence will be on its aouthem side. Some Uered, 4foot-high <br /> roclteries are proposed along the upsiope side of tt�e driveway, as a eut of approximately 8 feet is <br /> needed. <br /> SlTE CONDITIONS <br /> SURFACE <br /> The projed lot is somewhat triangular and extends mostiy in the narth-(project north) south <br /> direction. It is bordered on its westem side along Mukitteo Boulevard, altho�h acceas to the site is <br /> on ils eastem side from the bordeMng CresCent Avenue. Overali, tha aite slopes downward to the <br /> east, afthough the eastem edge is aomewhat level. A small dftch is loceted b�tween the level area <br /> and Crescer�t Avenue. The slope nearest Mukilteo Boulevard is steep for approximately 6 feet; it <br /> appear„ that this upper portian was filled to create the eastem edge of Mukilteo Boulevard. The <br /> remainder of the slope is moderatery steep. The lot apparenUy was recently deared, thus, I'�tle <br /> vegetation exists at the site. <br />
