ATTENTION CONTRACTORS <br /> KEEP CONCRETE WHERE IT BELONGS <br /> CONCRETE TRUCK WASHOUT <br /> The following are acceptable areas of the washout from a concrete truck: <br /> ➢ A designated area on private property which will later be backfllled <br /> (i,e. slurry pit) <br /> ➢ An area where the concrete wash can harden, be broken up and <br /> then put in a dumpster <br /> � A location which is not subject to surface water runoff and more than <br /> • 50 feet away from a storm drain, open ditch or receiving water <br /> Washout from concrete trucks may never be dumped: <br /> ➢ Into a sanitary sewer <br /> ➢ Into a storm dr�in <br /> ➢ On soil or pavement which conveys storm water from the area <br /> EXPOSED AGGREGATE CONCRETE <br /> ALL WASH WATER AND SEDIMENT MUST BE CONTAINED ON SI i E. <br /> Precautionary measures are required to prevent sediment from entering <br /> any; <br /> ➢ Public right of way improvements <br /> ➢ Sanitary sewer system <br /> ➢ Storm drainage systems including ditches <br />
