The Uniform <br />Building Code provides that all permiu expire by limitation if the work authoriud by the <br />permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a period of 180 <br />days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring wichout documentation of completion, <br />you may: <br />or <br />or <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records <br />Department for microfilming without final approval.
