Se�vices (CES) undertook this CriGcal Arca Rcport tu describe �vedands, <br />strcams, and fish and wildlife habitat in thc projcct arca as requircd by the Ciry of Lverett's Critical <br />Areas Rcgulations (EMC Title 19, Chapter 37 Critical Areas). The purpose of thc study is to <br />evaluatc tlie site and proposcd project in order to assess potential impxts and proposc mitigation for <br />impacts. Other critical areas regulated'uy du Ciry of E-verett, such as geologic hazard areas, are not <br />evaluated in diis report. <br />1.2 PROJECI' DESCRIP7'ION <br />'Che subject property consists of t�vo tax parcels (00�9500009300 & 004�39500009200) located at <br />4800 Dog�vood Drive in the Ciry oC L-verett, WA (SL '/a, SLC 36, T�VI' 29N, RGE 04E, W.M.). <br />View Ridge Community Church is located on the souUiem parcel (00�19�00009300) and the <br />suuthcrn portion of the project site, with existing asphalt parking located north of the existing <br />church and extending off-site onto tl�e parcel o��ned by Deaconess Childreds Services. <br />Approximatcly the eastcrn hvo-tliirds of dic site is developed with the existing church or parking. <br />The �vcsrem third of thc site is undevcloped and contains a steep western aspect slope and fomsted <br />Cate,ory IV wedand (3�-foot buffcr). Do�vood-l:lm Creek, a Typc Ns Stream, is located ofT-site to <br />ihe west on die adjaccnt parcels. Type Ns Streams receive 50-foot protective butTers in d�e City of <br />Lverett. r\n addition to the chivch is proposed. Please sce the attached Critical Area Report Map <br />for sitc dctails. <br />An un-pennitted 3�ravel parking area w�s crcated benvecn the pre-existing asphalt parkiog lot and <br />Q�c on-site stecp slopc and wetland. The majority of the arca diat was gravcled previously consisted <br />of maintaincd lawn. The most restrictive setback pertaining ta any type of proposed development <br />on the subject property is thc ZS-foot steep slope setback.
