,• `: fi
1. Due to the size and shape of our corner lot and the fact that we
have no off street parking, with the exception of the single parking space
off of Dogwood.
We feel a variance would allow us to build a garage of sufficient size
to accomodate our two vehicles, freezer, tool storage, lawn equipment, etc.
and still allow us sufficient off street narking off of 49th for our 24 foot
travel trailer.
By building the garage in the proposed location it also allows us
access to the area North of our house for parking our boat. A garage of
the size proposed would allow us to move the 'r'rF:ezer and other items from
our third bedroom so one of our tao boys could use it. lle have considered
buying another house, but the price of housing and the interest rates make
it impossible. A garage on our present property seem the most realistir.
solution.
2. A garage of this size and in the location pr000sed would not decrease
our neighbors property value or restrict any views. I have shown Plot Plans
and dscussed the proposed garage location with both adjoining property owners
and neither have any objections. I have signed statements to this effect.
Both neighbors are aware I am applying for a variance in order to build closer
to the property line than code permits.
3. If a variance is denied sufficient off street parking for vehicles,
travel trailer and boat will not be available.
•w
