Next time, we will give you a full week to
review and comment. Sorry for the rush this time. A permit for a deck came in a couple weeks ago and was
ready to be issued this week, when we realized the address required an official city records change. The
house faces Earl Ave, not Friday Ave.
Just to clarify, there are three existing microfiche address cards in the file: 3606 Earl Ave, 3608 Earl Ave, and
3606 Friday Ave. Utility Records microfiche for 3606 Friday Ave should now reference 3608 Earl Ave and vice
versa.
According to the customer, they contacted Utility Billing to change the billing address for 3606 Friday Ave to
3608 Earl Ave when they purchased the house seven years ago. At that time, assigning an odd numbered
address to the property on Earl Ave was not pursued by the city. This week, the customer challenged an
add
ce their house is on a
and they have
seven years.
The Permit Service
there in retirement
ranManager, Paul McKee, accepted ctheiirr v viewpoint and
ndcurrent posted address rof 3608 Earl
Ave.
3606 Earl Ave is another house altogether, and those addressing records should remain untouched.
I have updated the Address Revision Request to reflect this information. Click on the following link for the
final versicn of the: address revision request.
Thank you again for your patience and rapid responses!
—Meg
From: Brent Linder
Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 2:53 PM
To: Meg Haley
Subject: RE: There are two 3606 Earl Avenue house addresses in city GIS database
Meg —just a small clarification. There is not a dual "3606 Earl Ave' shown in GIS. The second (southernmost) house is
identified as "3606 Friday Ave', and that is what all records are identified as.
-- Brent
From: Meg Haley
Sent: Tuesday, May 28, 2013 2:30 PM
To: Benyam Stephanos; Brent Linder; Greg Lineberry; Jim Venture; ]R Erickson; IngalsLauren Willie; Marcy Staats: Margaret
McLeod; Marilyn Long; Mag Haley; Michael Brick; Mike Ward; Paul McKee; Steve Ingalsbe; Verl Sly
Cc: Terri Jorgenson y`
Subject: There are two 3606 Earl Avenue house addresses in city GIS database IL
L-/
1
