The gas pipe needed to be pressure tested and you left an affidavit to be completed. This test was completed today, December 9, 1999, by the installing contractor Scott Zaro, Choice Home Services, and witnessed by me, A. T. Peacock, Ow�r. The white copy is enclosed and indicates the test was successful. Tne second item was to provide an access door to the concealed gas pipe connection in the basement ceiling. This requirement was based on the instructions in the installation manual for Ward piping systems and the City requirement that the installation be made to the manufacturer's instructions. This installation uses Gastite piping rather than Wards. Gastite's instructions for their brand and pipe design indicate that it is approved for concealed use behind walls. The contractor will drop o1P a copy of the Gastite installation instructions for your office's use. I also sent an e-mail to Gastite requesting their position on concealment of Gastite pipe. 4 My e-mail address is AVIATIONTP@aol.com.
