There are no <br /> 4 crosswalks and there is no light, and it is a <br /> 5 . dangerous spot. <br /> 6 And as we stated earlier, children do not <br /> 7 perceive cars and movement the same way we do. And we <br /> 8 have discussed this concern before the Park and Ride <br /> 9 came up, and we feel that even though the traffic <br /> lo perhaps would not be duzing school hours, there is <br /> il always a possibility that there will be cars. And I <br /> 12 just can't see that this project is going to not have <br /> a13 any impact on the amount of traffic goinq in and out <br /> 14 than at any time of day. And I believe there will be <br /> 15 more traffic cominq in any time of day, maybe not a <br /> 16 lot, maybe not much, but even now, even at this point <br /> 17 in time, we as parents have been very concerned about <br /> 18 our children getting to and from school safely. And I <br /> 19 feel that as stated earl±er, that we do need to make <br /> 20 sure there are sidewalks on the north side of this <br /> 21 project also as the children do come out of that <br /> ❑j 22 neiqhborhood. We need to have sidewalks there. <br /> Z3 And i feel that because I am sure there will be <br /> 24 increased traffic on 27th, that there should be some <br /> 25 sort of sidewalk there.
