The <br /> following are requirements of the ifniform Fire Code, as adopted, which require <br /> your immediate attention: <br /> 1. Post and maintain the correct street address number in a conspicuous place <br /> over or near the principal street entrance, or in such other conspicuous <br /> place as is necessary for the easy finding of such address. Numbers shall <br /> be easily legible fiaures, not less than three (3) inches high, <br /> contrasting with the color of the building or other structures upo� which <br /> they are placed. <br /> 2. Reduce the storage of flammable liquids to that which is required f.or the <br /> maintenance and operation of the building and equipment. Such storage <br /> must be in closed metal containers, in a metal storage cabinet, or in <br /> safety cans, or provide under permit from the 13uilding Departnent a <br /> flammable liquid storage room under the guidelines of Article 79 of the <br /> Uniform Fire Code. <br /> 3. Remove and properly dispose of the tmused paint cans and/or other <br /> flammable liquid containers throughout the building. <br /> 4. Provide covered metal container(s) for the disposal of combustible waste <br /> materials. <br /> a. used rags <br /> b, combustible trash <br /> 5. Housekeeping improvements are needed for the interior and exterior of the <br /> building. <br /> 6. Obtain and post in a conspicuous place, a Fire Ilepartment permit for <br /> cutting and welding. <br />
