IA continuation on the application of Manning, Thorp & Selig requesting permission to conduct supervised dancing within ` la proposed Teen Center in the former grocery store of the , Eastmont Shopping Center. i\ � Mr. Terry Manning gave his reasons for wanting the Teen ' � Center. ` Many letters were read in opposition tu the Teen Center. � ,. ! The Board of Adjustsnent, after hearing testimony and argu- �{S ments and being otherwise fully informed, made the follocv- � ing iindings : � i � 1. That an application f�r a variance from the regnlatiuns � � of Everett City Code 15 .04 was properly filed by the , , o applicant. r � � 2. That the property involved is in a B-1, Neighborhood � Snopping Zone. � � 3. That the pertinent sections of the Everett Zoning Code , are: 15 .04.030 B 35 � 15 .04 .120 15.04 .370 ! 4. That no evidence was presented by the applicant that j showed exceptional conditions that apply to the use of . the subject property that do not apply generally to other properties in the same vicinity . 5. That a variance is not necessary for the preservation of property rights possessed by other property owners in the vicinity. 6 . That a variance would adversely affect the Comprehen- sive Plan of the city. NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Adjustment based on the above findings deny the application for a variance .
