lA INTRODUCTION <br /> This report contains the results of our geotechnical investigation for thc proposed <br /> new single family residence to be located on the south side of the 1700 block of <br /> England Avenue. This work has been performed in accordance vvith ow written <br /> proposal dated December 4, 1994 and signed by Mr. And Mrs. Zwang on <br /> December 5, 1994. <br /> The purpose of this investigation is to expand upon existing soil infonnation in the <br /> project area and to provide geotechnical recommendations to be utilized during the <br /> design, development and construction stages of this project. Specific items to be <br /> addressed are in accordance with those items listed within our Proposal for <br /> Geotechnical Services dated December 4, 1994. <br /> The scope of our investigation included a geotechnical reconnaissance of the proiect <br /> site and surrounding area; the excavation of 3 test pits to help delineate shallow <br /> subsurface soil and potential ground water conditions; and the review of geologic <br /> maps, soil maps and soil information in our office files. During the course of our <br /> investigation we were provided and/or reviewed the following information: <br /> 1.
