Zrnrig Properlp 9J-11-10
Ercretl, IVnshiriglnn
4.0 CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDAI'IONS
Based on our site reconnaissance, subsurface exploration program and ot7ice
studies, the development of this site and construction of the proposed single family
residence at this site is feasible from a geotechnical and geological standpoint,
utilizing spread foundations and conventional construction measures.
4.l Seasonal Worldne Conditions
The sandy soils encountered during our explorations on this site were mostly fine- to
medium-grained and some did contain a small amount of silt. For these reasons, the
soils should be considered slightly moisture sensitive. Work should be able to
progress during all but the wettest times of the year.
4.2 Sitc Prenaration
The driveway prisms and areas to be graded or that will receive fill should be
stripped of brush, dense root accumulations, and any undocumented fill or organics
prior to placing any fill or surfacing material. Based on our subsurface explorations,
we estimate that tlie stripping effort should be on the order of up to 0.5 feet over
most of the site. Homever, we did encounter 4.0 feet of fill and topsoil in TP-3,
3 GES, bzc.
