It is also our understanding that the Everett Building Department needs a letter from us stating that the work will be done in accordance with those recommendations,will observe constru:tion, and will write a letta after construction. This letter does that. The construction is planned to be done in accordance with the recommendations in our January 20th report. In summary this includes: • Ten AB Chance Helical anchors drilled at roughly 5 foot spacing as shown on the figure in the report. • All pazts to be supplied by AB Chance and designed for a minimum of 40,000 lbs. of ultimate bearing. • Each anchor will have 8, 10, and 12 inch helices • Rods and brackets are to be standard capable of 40,000 lbs. in compression. • Each anchor will be installed to at least 3,900 ft-lbs. of torque. • Level house with anchors. • Lock off the anchors to form a permunent support system for the house. • This work does not include any other work such as leveling the floor. We will observe the construction on a part time basis and will write a closing letter stating that the work was done in accordance with our recommendations or, if is not,we • will write a letter stating what was done and how it will be expected to perform.
